Sakura Round Tray

This elegant lacquer tray features delicate sakura (cherry blossom) motifs created using the traditional raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) technique.

Each petal is carefully cut from thin layers of shell and applied by hand to the lacquer surface. By layering colors and polishing the surface, the blossoms softly reflect light, producing a gentle shimmering effect that changes depending on the angle.

The tray is finished in a rich vermilion lacquer, providing a beautiful contrast to the iridescent shell details and gold accents.
