Introduced in 2021 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the celebrated Nishiki overlay series, the Maihime Vase became a standard collection piece in 2022.

Its name, Maihime (“dancing princess”), is inspired by the graceful silhouette that gently curves outward from rim to base, along with the drape-like flowing lines descending along the sides.

The rim features a softly rounded cut, while the central band showcases a shimmering hemp-leaf geometric pattern. Combined with the elegant contour, the piece radiates refined brilliance and sculptural beauty.

Ideal as a floral vessel or as a statement decorative object, the Maihime Vase embodies the timeless artistry of Satsuma Kiriko.
