Decorative Art Plate – Plum, Camellia & Bush Warbler (Gold Leaf)

Sale price¥448,000

Made in Japan by Hakuichi, one of Japan’s most respected masters of gold leaf craftsmanship, with over a century of heritage.

A refined decorative plate depicting plum blossoms, camellia, and a bush warbler (uguisu), capturing the quiet transition from winter to early spring in Japanese aesthetics. The composition expresses harmony, renewal, and seasonal beauty.

This piece is created using Hakuichi’s proprietary technique combining raised textures and delicate hand-drawn lines. Gold leaf and fine metallic powders are layered to produce depth, warmth, and a softly textured surface.

Inspired by the artistic sensibility of Sakai Hōitsu, the work translates traditional Japanese painting into a contemporary decorative form suited for modern interiors.

Lightweight and elegant, it integrates seamlessly into hospitality spaces, residences, and curated environments, while also serving as a refined gift.

Each piece is handcrafted to order.
No minimum order quantity. Orders are accepted from a single unit.
Estimated production lead time: approximately 90 days.
